Product overview

The ultimate desktop IP phone

A breakthrough in simplicity and design excellence, the feature rich touch-sensitive backlit panel, intuitively and visually guides users through a wealth of functionality. The StarLeaf Phone is a true innovation that will change the way you do business everyday.

One touch telephone conferencing–no scheduling, bridges or support required

One touch telephone conferencing–no scheduling, bridges or support required

One-touch conferencing makes going from a two-party discussion, straight into a group discussion, and back again, super-easy. It’s obvious–just follow the touch screen controls. In a group call, the conference lead retains control–can mute participants, and connect and disconnect parties as the need arises.

When the lead exits the call, discussion continues uninterrupted, with the lead passed consecutively from person-to-person. There’s no need for expertise or support when organizing meetings or initiating ad hoc group discussions.

Instant access to corporate directories, personal contacts and favorites

Simply access the corporate directory, your contacts and even personal favorites all in one touch. Find a colleague by scrolling or searching the directory with the on-screen keyboard. With Microsoft Exchange integration, personal contacts are dynamically synchronized and always available. Favorites can be added in one touch and become on-screen direct dial buttons that also display an individual’s presence status.

StarLeaf visual mail for voice and video messages

The StarLeaf Phone has the unique ability to play back video messages, received from colleagues lucky enough to have StarLeaf Personal Telepresence. And of course, it will also receive messages recorded from a StarLeaf Group Telepresence room-based solution.

If you’ve forwarded your calls, opted for ‘do not disturb’ or were away from your desk, the StarLeaf Phone lets you know messages are waiting. Direct on-screen access to visual mail allows you to scroll through all messages, see who’s called, listen to, or view any voice or video message–in any order. Only the StarLeaf Phone allows you to receive telepresence messages, displayed on its large format screen.

Future proof with the flexibility to upgrade to full telepresence

Upgrading to a full StarLeaf Personal Telepresence solution only requires the addition of the StarLeaf Telepresence monitor, which plugs straight into the StarLeaf Phone to become both a high-definition video and PC screen. Without any further configuration you can meet face-to-face, join room based telepresence meetings, share your desktop content and even connect with colleagues, partners and customers using any H.323 video conferencing systems.
