Working at StarLeaf
I started at StarLeaf as a Software Engineer in 2009 after finishing my Masters in Computer Science. After a couple of years, I joined the Sales Engineering team and progressed to Director of Sales Engineering before taking on my current role as Director of Product Management. My day to day involves keeping up to date with market trends, planning our R&D roadmap, and defining and prioritizing our product features. I feel very lucky to be part of an amazing team building great products and I love that I have been able to grow my career with the company.
I joined StarLeaf a few months ago after having finished my Masters in Mathematics. I started off here doing product testing, which was a great way to learn about StarLeaf’s systems. Now I put that knowledge to use by providing technical support to our customers over the phone and by email. Solving their issues is a very satisfying part of my job, and I enjoy being able to continually develop my knowledge.
I first joined StarLeaf on a 3 month internship before being offered a permanent position when the internship ended. I help maintain StarLeaf’s OpenCloud, which involves keeping a check on daily activity and working to prevent any outages. What I really like about working here is that I am constantly expanding my knowledge. We’re encouraged to keep asking questions, both for self-development and to help the company grow.
I interned at StarLeaf Cambridge during the second year of my Computer Science degree and joined StarLeaf London permanently when I graduated. In my day to day, I design, build, and test new features. Implementing new features can be a challenge, but is always immensely rewarding. I feel very much a valued member of the team and that I make a real difference to our business. StarLeaf has a friendly and relaxed culture that encourages asking questions, it feels like I am learning something new every day.
I graduated with a Masters in Graphic Design and, after 20 years’ experience in interaction design and UX for various software companies, I joined StarLeaf in 2016. My role here is to design the best user experience possible for StarLeaf’s products. I do this working very closely with the Development and Product Teams. I love StarLeaf’s informal atmosphere and flat hierarchy.
I joined StarLeaf as Office Manager in 2013, the role grew as the company did and now I support the North America Sales Team. Every day at StarLeaf is different, but I mainly take care of logistics for our Sales Team and provide support for our Channel Partners to make sure the StarLeaf sales process runs smoothly. It has been great to be a part of the company’s growth over the last few years and I am excited to see what the future has in store for StarLeaf.
I joined StarLeaf in 2011 as part of the Finance Team, and moved into Sales Operations 4 years ago. I work very closely with the Sales Team, supporting them through data management and reporting, as well as providing support to our Channel Partners. I also manage our growing Sales Operations Team, making sure our internal processes are working smoothly. I love the dynamic nature of my role.
Passion for what we do runs through the whole company, I really enjoy working in a positive environment that rewards our hard work.
I started at StarLeaf in 2013 after having worked at a large aerospace company. I initially joined the DevOps Team where I lead Support in EMEA which gave me a great understanding of StarLeaf’s full offering and paved the way for me becoming a Sales Engineer. I now look after partners all across EMEA, so I travel a lot, and help partners out on the technical side of the sales process. I love what I do, the people here are fantastic and I feel really valued as an individual.
