Shellshock (CVE-2014-6271) is bigger and potentially more impactful than Heartbleed in that it can take control of your operating system to access files rather than just spying on computers. It has the potential to affect hundreds of thousands of websites, data centers and businesses. The virus gives hackers the freedom and wherewithal to attach to any computer running Linux, including Macs, and has the capability to devastate businesses. StarLeaf is not vulnerable nor are its customers vulnerable. We have carried out a full audit of our services, points of presence, endpoints and network and can assure all portal users, website visitors and users of our cloud video conferencing service and equipment that they are not and will not be impacted by Shellshock.
